The thickness of the plates is 0.8 – 1mm.
Fabric: outer layer – broadcloth, inner layer (for durability) – cardura.
Straps material – genuine leather.

The kit includes: the body protection, hips protection, small protection of groin , small buttock protection, mantle with shoulder protection.
– Brigandine armor. Golden Horde XIV – XV centuries.
– Khatangu-degel in translation means “robe, hard as steel.”
– Khatangu degel is an Asian version of plate armor – brigandines.
– The armor was very popular among the Tatar-Mongolian and Russian warriors in the XIII-XV centuries. It was considered to be a ceremonial officer’s vestment, depending on the upper material and decor
– The shape and cut of the khatangu-reinforced degels differed little from the shape of the “hard” Mongolian armor. In fact, this is a vest, fastened either on the sides or in front with a long hem to the knees and the addition of large soft shoulders of a rectangular (rarely leaf-shaped) shape.
– Often such armor was supplemented with a pair of small metal discs in front under the throat and behind under the back of the head. Another pair of the same discs protected the warrior’s armpits. The base of the armor was covered from above with a fabric of lilac, violet, violet or blue colors.
– It is characteristic that Khatangu degel of the same shape, but not reinforced with metal, were often worn under metal armor, such quilted armor was covered with red cloth on top. The Mongolian light cavalry used them as the main type of hull protection.
