– Model of a training saber for Eastern Europe, Russia and the East of the XII – XVII centuries
– Elman, (chagat. jalman “edge, blade”, tour. yalman “the upper part of the saber near the tip”— is an extension to the end of the saber strip [, in the so-called “weak part of the blade”, in the upper third of the blade from the tip, characteristic of Eastern European and Asian saber-type cold weapons.
– Elman can be both pronounced and smoothly expanding. Could have a sharpening both on one side and two-sided.
