A perfect pouch for role-playing games, reenactment events, historical gatherings, or even everyday use.

Despite its compact size, this pouch can hold a surprising amount of essential items.

This pouch features the recognizable color scheme of the religious Order of the Templars (from French “templiers” – “Knights of the Temple”), officially known as the Order of the Poor Knights of Christ (L’Ordre des Pauvres Chevaliers du Christ).

The Templars were a spiritual and military knightly order founded in the Holy Land in 1119 by a small group of knights led by Hugues de Payens, shortly after the First Crusade. They were the second of the major religious military orders, established roughly 20 years after the Hospitallers.

In the 12th and 13th centuries, the order became immensely wealthy, owning vast land holdings both in the Crusader states of Palestine and Syria and across Europe.

The Pope granted the Templars significant ecclesiastical and legal privileges, making them directly answerable to the papacy. Monarchs also granted them estates and properties, strengthening their influence.

While the primary mission of the Templars was to protect pilgrims traveling to the Holy Land, they also played a crucial role in the military defense of the Crusader states.
