This type looks at first glance very similar in shape to type I falchions, but they are actually completely different.
Falchions of this type have a straight blade for the first two-thirds of the handle. The leading edge of the blade is straight or slightly concave, turning sharply to the strongly concave edge at the tip. The posterior edge is straight or slightly convex. The tip, can be flat or thickened with a rhombic cross section, is adapted for stabbing blows.
It has a convergence in thickness to the tip for better balance. The handle of the increased length will allow you to use any type of brush protection.
