This helmet model is a collective representation of Russian helmets of Type II and Type IV, with the most beautiful and striking example being the Helmet of Yaroslav Vsevolodovich.

The “Helmet of Yaroslav Vsevolodovich” is an ancient Russian helmet dating back to the second half of the 12th – first half of the 13th century. It is preserved in the Moscow Armory.

This artifact played a crucial role in the development of Russian historical studies. As noted by Anatoly Kirpichnikov, “the helmet of Yaroslav Vsevolodovich was one of the first objects that initiated the study not only of weapons but of Russian antiquities in general.”

The helmet features a distinctive forehead plate, a profiled nasal guard, and ornate eyebrow overlays, all of which are characteristic elements of wealthy Russian helmets from the 12th-13th centuries.

The helmet can be painted metallic for a closer resemblance to a steel version.

Additionally, for a more distinctive and luxurious appearance, artistic painting can be applied.
