LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene) is a very reliable and durable material that does not crack from frost or heavy impacts.

A gorget, also known as a buviger or bevor, is a piece of plate armor designed to protect the neck and face. The gorget can be a single piece of armor or consist of multiple plates encircling the neck and chin.

The gorget was typically worn with a salad (a type of helmet), chapel (a head covering), and later with a burgonet. In both cases, these two components of armor (the helmet and the gorget) were used together to provide comprehensive protection for the head and neck.
