The shin guards are made from extremely durable plastic and consist of a shin plate and a knee guard, which are connected by a flexible joint.
These shin guards are highly mobile, lightweight, and do not reduce mobility.
The plastic does not chip, crack, retains its shape, and provides excellent impact absorption.
The protection can be worn over regular pants or stockings without padding, offering protection against impacts from any type of HEMA weapon. However, for additional protection, we still recommend wearing them over something cushioning.
The knee and shin are connected by flexible straps that can be easily replaced in just a few minutes if they become frayed.
The shin guards fasten with long, secure Velcro straps and plastic carabiners.
The shin guards fit snugly around the leg and can be used as hidden leg protection under Early or High Medieval armor, where reliable plated shin and knee protection was not yet common.
Available in three sizes: S, M, and L.
