LARP Imperial light shield “SKYRIM”

The dimensions and materials of the shield conform to the rules of the vast majority of LARP events.

A slightly larger version of the Imperial Light Shield is a lighter version of the standard Imperial Shield. Not as common as its heavy counterpart.
Can be found:
– Aboard the ship “Running on Ice”, which is the key location of the quest “lighst out!”.
– On the bodies of fallen Imperial soldiers during the Civil War.

This shield covers almost the entire body and legs, and thanks to the double grip and curved field, gives you the ability to use this shield in defence as a pavise and in attack as a heater knight’s shield. Despite the large size, the shield is light and mobile, and most importantly, it is safe for the wearer and the opponents.

Its width is 70 cm. Length 120 cm.
The shield has a curved field. Plywood. Thickness 6 mm. (double glued in two 3 mm layers) 10 mm thick EVA padding on the backboard with application of aged plank structure.
3 mm EVA padding to the backboard and metal colouring.
Internal side in mock planking and stain effect.
shoulder padding with leather shoulder strap.
Double grip version: a standard diagonal grip like on heater knight’s shields and vertical grip like on pavise.

Can be freely used on any LARP events where shields are used. It  helps you  easily parry most of the hits and shots aimed at you. The convex upper edge of the shield will enable you to cover your head even with a small movement, while the wide margins and the lower edge of the shield, pulled down, will protect your body and legs not only from the front, but also from the side.
