The “francisca” axe has been known since the time of Roman colonization. It was used by warriors of the Germanic and Frankish tribes. Historians noted that the Franks and Germans threw axes with such terrible speed and force that it was difficult to notice how the swing of a warrior’s arm merged with the moment when the axe, breaking the shield of a Roman infantryman, flew into his head right up to the butt. It was named the “flying poleaxe” by the Romans.
A small, almost pocket version of the throwing Francisca axe can be hidden by a cloak or the skirts of clothing so as not to be unarmed where one is not supposed to be armed.
It can be shoved into a boot top or simply tucked behind a belt and its presence will in no way affect your movements.
It can perfectly well be used as a throwing axe where it is allowed.

Protected LARP Weapons are models specially made of soft polyurethane foam. These models are used at role-playing games, trainings, and other entertainment events where fiberglass or duralumin weapons are not allowed.
Protected LARP weapons are soft and lightweight, so the risk of causing injury with them is minimal. They are used at events with a minimum amount of armor.
Also, protected LARP weapons are excellent for night role-playing battles, where usually no other weapons are allowed.
