Description
Dirk – Scottish National Dagger. It is a traditional accessory of a very formal version of the Scottish national costume, and also worn with some forms of clothing by bagpipers and officers of the Scottish regiments of the British army and the countries of the Commonwealth. It has a long straight (up to 30 cm) blade of one-and-a-half sharpening (less often – one-sidedly sharpened), a handle without a crosspiece.
