Description
Bebut (Persian. Behbūd from Turkic. Bekbut (bek + but (thigh)) – one of the main (along with Kama) types of Caucasian daggers.
Bebut is most likely of Turkic origin. Blade curved, double-sided or one-sided sharpening, up to 50 cm long, most often with valleys.
