Blade of steel, of slight curvature, single-blade, with one wide dale. The combat end is two-blade. At the beginning of the XX century. arbitrary blades were also common.
Wooden scabbard, covered with leather. A metal appliance consists of a mouth, a nut and a tip. There is a bracket on the inside of the mouth, and a belt for the harness belt on the nut on the nut. In 1881-1894 instead of a ring, there was a triangular bracket on the nut. The scabbard with a bayonet deck had only checkers of the lower ranks of the 16th and 17th dragoon regiments, in the period 1881-1888.

Spring tempered steel. Brass. Hardening 50 HRC. Polished.
