Description
The blade is a steel twisted single-edged, with one broad fuller. Arbitrary blades, including foreign ones, were common.
Hilt consists of a handle with a head and a brass guard. The wooden handle is covered with leather and wrapped in cross grooves with twisted wire. The back of the handle is covered with a brass strap. The head of the handle is oval, convex. The guard is formed by a cross and three arms – the front and two side arms, which branches off from the front and, being bent, joins to the cross. The end of the cross is slightly bent down and rounded.
