Hood ( Hood) – a headdress, originally-a kind of hood with a long “tail”. It was designed to protect the head and neck from cold and bad weather. And indeed, in hood, it is surprisingly comfortable on cold autumn evenings or in a strong wind. If it gets hot in the hood , it can always be removed from the head as a normal hood, while the hood itself will remain on the neck and will not be lost anywhere.
It is believed that the Scandinavian version of the hood is distinguished by a large wedge in front and back.
