Ancient Roman short sword gladius with a Spanish-type blade. Used from 200 BC to 20 BC. The Spanish gladius was the largest and heaviest of the gladii. The earliest and longest of the gladii, it had a pronounced leaf-like shape.
– It features all the same functional parts as gladius replicas and a hilt very similar to replicas with a round pommel, which allows for practicing fencing skills of the antiquity period.
