Despite its entirely peaceful purpose – a sickle can be quite successfully used as a weapon. The long and sharp part of the sickle allows delivering slashing and thrusting strikes, and by sharpening it from the outside, you can get something like a khopesh with a pronounced cutting effect.
Peasants in the famous game Gothic are armed with sickles of this type and they use them very skillfully in battle, if necessary. But then again, they are quite comfortable to reap LARP wheat or LARP hemp 😉

Protected LARP Weapons are models specially made of soft polyurethane foam. These models are used at role-playing games, trainings, and other entertainment events where fiberglass or duralumin weapons are not allowed.
Protected LARP weapons are soft and lightweight, so the risk of causing injury with them is minimal. They are used at events with a minimum amount of armor.
Also, protected LARP weapons are excellent for night role-playing battles, where usually no other weapons are allowed.
