A pollaxe is a specialized polearm of the late Middle Ages (15th-16th centuries), designed for close combat and tournaments. Unlike long two-handed versions (150-210 cm), one-handed variants were used in pair with a shield or for combat in confined spaces, combining the functions of an axe, a hammer, and a thrusting spike.
– The axe blade, hammer face, and top spike are soft and will not injure your opponent when struck.
– Perfect for a military commander, a status warrior, or a champion who will be able to fully appreciate the capabilities of this elite weapon.
– The pole is also fully protected.
– Protected LARP Weapons are models specially made of soft polyurethane foam. These models are used at role-playing games, trainings, and other entertainment events where fiberglass or duralumin weapons are not allowed.
– Protected LARP weapons are soft and lightweight, so the risk of causing injury with them is minimal. They are used at events with a minimum amount of armor.
