Milanese Plate Bracers from Churburg
The beginning of the XV century.
Mild steel.
Thickness: 1.5 mm.
The plate bracers of the classic Milanese design: the lowest part is two-flapped, the elbow is segmented (2 segments are below, 1 segment is above), the upper part is half-open. Elbow pads, or rather bump stops (protection of the ulnar cavity) are symmetrical.
An anatomically shaped foldable wristband with a loop completely covered the entire forearm.
