This type of shield was also used in Eastern Europe, including Russia (Second half of XIV – early XV century).

The dimensions of the shield comply with the rules of tournaments in historical fencing.

The shield field is curved.
Plywood.
Thickness: 8 mm (two layers of 4 mm each glued together).

The surface of the shield is covered with tarpaulin on glue.
Colored. From the inside, there’s an imitation of boards and staining.
