If there is a bladed weapon that is a symbol in the United States, it is, without a doubt, the Bowie knife. This is the most famous bladed weapon of the Americans, which was very popular in the US from the second half of the 19th century – and approximately to the mid-20th, and is still produced today.
It is inextricably linked with the name of James Bowie, one of the national heroes of the USA, famous for many deeds – but primarily for his participation in the famous Texas Revolution. That is, in the war for the secession of Texas from Mexico.

A large knife (cleaver) with a characteristic blade shape, on the spine of which near the point there is a bevel having the shape of a concave arc (“clip point”).
The special shape of the knife serves for the convenient delivery of a cutting or slashing strike. This knife can be used in LARP role-playing games both for Fantasy settings and the Middle Ages, as well as for Post-Apoc, Steampunk and similar universes.

Protected LARP Weapons are models specially made of soft polyurethane foam. These models are used at role-playing games, trainings, and other entertainment events where fiberglass or duralumin weapons are not allowed.
Protected LARP weapons are soft and lightweight, so the risk of causing injury with them is minimal. They are used at events with a minimum amount of armor.
Also, protected LARP weapons are excellent for night role-playing battles, where usually no other weapons are allowed.
