Kabuto Zaboshi of the Edo era. The dome of the helmet consists of 8 lamellas with curved edges. Painting and varnish. Maedate is covered in gold leaf. The MEMPO half mask is attached to the helmet through special hooks and rings with a silk cord. The mustache on the half mask is made of natural horse hair. And the red color and grimace was supposed to frighten both enemies and evil spirits!
