Claymore (also claymore, eng. Claymore; gael. claidheamh-mòr “great sword”) — a special type of two-handed (less often — one-handed) sword used in Scotland in the 15th-17th centuries. The name comes from the gaelic claidheamh mòr — “great sword”. Perhaps the word claidheamh, in turn, is related to the lat. gladius.

– Protected LARP Weapons are models specially made of soft polyurethane foam. These models are used at role-playing games, trainings, and other entertainment events where fiberglass or duralumin weapons are not allowed.
– Protected LARP weapons are soft and lightweight, so the risk of causing injury with them is minimal. They are used at events with a minimum amount of armor.
– Also, protected LARP weapons are excellent for night role-playing battles, where usually no other weapons are allowed.
