Tournament version of the sword in the Early Middle Ages of IX – XI centuries. A somewhat archaic model for the early Middle Ages, but it perfectly conveys the spirit of an era where ancestral traditions were often placed above convenience.
The extended handle allows the use of a stuffed mitt, or a mitt with hidden protection.
Also, this model very successfully provides the opportunity to develop fencing skills characteristic of the early Middle Ages.
