Most often, the term Baselard is understood as a long dagger with a characteristic handle shape. But there are surviving specimens that reach 85-90 cm in length and are full-fledged swords with beautiful recognizable handles.
This version of the long baselard combines the striking distance of a full-fledged sword and the comfortable unusual handle of a dagger, which is very comfortable to hold in the hand.

And the sword’s length of up to 90 cm passes it for any night battle. Protected LARP equipment are models specially made of soft polyurethane foam. These models are used at role-playing games, trainings, and other entertainment events where fiberglass or duralumin weapons are not allowed.
