Such a baldric with pouches will serve you well at a large number of the most diverse LARP and cosplay events.
It conveniently hangs over the shoulder, for which the largest and heaviest bag is removed to the very bottom of the baldric.
The remaining bags are ergonomically located on the chest (or back, if it is more convenient for you to wear it that way) and accommodate a large amount of any useful stuff, both LARP and everyday, which is inconvenient to carry in your hands or pockets.
