Tashka bag (from German. Tasche, bag (hanging bag), or from the fully consonant Hungarian word ” bag ” (Veng. táska) of the same origin) this is one of the few surviving options for wearing personal items on the belt.
Most of the bags have been restored thanks to the well-preserved flaps of these bags. The valves of the Tashek were often decorated with overlays made of non-ferrous or precious metals. It is by their location in the graves that the shapes of these beautiful handbags were restored.
Some of the lids were made entirely of silver with beautiful hammered ornaments and gilding.
It is assumed that this form of handbags was very common on the territory of Russia and its neighbors.
