Armpoints are primarily used to attach various armor elements to padded protection.

They securely fasten steel, plastic, or leather armor components (bracers, elbows, shoulder plates, knees, etc.).

The strength of the leather lace is sufficient to hold even large and heavy armor pieces (such as large Milanese shoulder guards or plate thighs).

If the lace gets cut or torn, it can easily be replaced without removing the armpoint from the padded armor.
