Description
Ancient Roman short sword gladius with a blade of the Spanish type. Used since 200 BC until 20 BC The Spanish gladius was the largest and heaviest of them. The earliest and longest had a expressed leaf-shaped shape.
The sheath of the sword is set with a cast and hammered bronze device.
