Description

Hungarian-Polish saber with a broomstick and two fullers.
Type II according to the typology of V. Kwasniewicz.
Eastern Europe, XVII century

The blade is made of high-carbon alloy steel.
The blade is hardened (hardness 50 HRC).
The maximum thickness of the blade at the handle is about 6 mm.
The thickness of the blade at the end is about 3.5 mm.
Designed for contact fencing.
There are no design weaknesses.

The difference from edged weapons is the lack of sharpening the blade.
The blade is dull (blade edge thickness 2 mm).
